Trail Ride
Distance - 8 miles
Join Trees Forever, City of Des Moines Forestry and Trees Forever TreeKeepers in a bike tour of the city's urban forest. We'll curate multiple tree-related stops on the approximately 8-mile route and will start and stop at Peace Tree Brewing. Trees Forever TreeKeepers stationed at the tree stops will provide a short description of the surrounding trees and be available to answer questions. Go at your own speed, and we'll see everyone at Peace Tree Brewing at the finish!
Route
Start and finish at Peace Tree Brewery, Des Moines Branch. Ride on Court Ave. to trail system through and around Gray's Lake, along MLK Jr., on the levee to Pete Crivaro Park, and back to Peace Tree. Full map found at website.
