Please join us on Saturday, May 19th as we celebrate the completion of the first phase of the Iowa River Trail in Hardin County. We will start the event at 11:00 AM for some networking and showcasing the completed portion of the trail and bridge. We will plan to have a short Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 11:45 AM.
From there, we will head up to Happening's for their Bike Day, where pizza and beverages will be available for purchase.
From Happenings, we will plan to take off on our bikes. While there is no route or distance determined at this time, the existing trail that heads towards Eldora via Pine Lake State Park is now connected to the new Iowa River Trail where the Ribbon Cutting will take place so that would make sense for a starting point for the route.
Feel free to join us for all or part of the day. It will be a great day of networking with fellow cyclists and trail enthusiasts. We look forward to seeing you there.
