Cyclists on the ride, which had to be rescheduled from earlier in the winter due to subzero temperatures, traveled from the Iowa City Big Grove location to Solon’s location and then back to Iowa City.

Party Ride

Distance - 30-40 miles

This FREE ride starts at Big Grove Brewery in Iowa City, rides to Big Grove in Solon and then goes back to Iowa City! All riders welcome on this chill, no drop ride. Fat bikes, cross bikes, MTB - choose your best weapon for a wintery ride in Iowa! Weather depending, this will be 30-45 miles with a halfway pit stop stocked with warm beverages at St. Mary's Newport Church. 

Meet up at 9am at Big Grove Brewery and Taproom for free breakfast and coffee or join the ride at noon in Solon! 

Geoff's Bike and Ski and World of Bikes will be our mechanical support and on hand at the start and half-way point to address any minor mechanical issues. Love them Local Bike Shops!

1/2 price beer in Solon and a free pint in Iowa City for all those who braved the cold!
