Last year's ride was 70 degrees and sunny...This year, we had SNOW! Despite the cold and treacherous trail conditions, we still had a wonderful turnout of riders from all across the Des Moines Metro! New this year, we added a warming station at the halfway point at the Berwick Congregational Church. Needless to say, it was MUCH needed! This ride could not go off without the help of the Berwick Church, Reclaimed Rails Brewing Company, and Founder's Irish Pub in Bondurant. A big thanks to everyone who braved the elements and came out and enjoyed the Chichaqua Valley Trail!

Trail Ride

Distance - Approx. 10 miles

Join us for our 2nd Annual CHOWDER Winter Ride! Last year was so successful, we thought we'd do it again! Start at the Bondurant Regional Trailhead Depot and pedal down the Chichaqua Valley Trail 5 miles to Berwick. Once there, enjoy some delicious hot chocolate and warm up at the Berwick Congregational Church. Once your ready, head back to Bondurant and enjoy a yummy chowder lunch at Founder's Irish Pub or participate in the Chili Cook-Off at Reclaimed Rails Brewing Company! This ride is all about getting out in the winter and having fun with friends and family! We hope to see you there!
