Distance - Depends on where you start!

Help restore Gray's Lake's woodland and trails by removing invasive plants, which will be "UPCYCLED" food for the zoo's animals!

After the event, we'll head to Confluence Brewery. Confluence is offering a complimentary beverage to the first 30 UPCYCLE volunteers over 21.

Volunteers who attend all three UpCycle events (3rd Thursdays) will be entered to win a Blank Park Zoo family four pack and feed bundle.

What to bring:

• Water bottle
• Sturdy boots or shoes that can get muddy
• Hat, gloves, sunscreen

Details:

• No experience necessary.
• Children age 12+ welcomed.
• You will be asked to sign a liability waiver.
• Restrooms on site.

Route

Many bike trails lead you to Gray's Lake. Hop on the Great Western Trail or the Bill Riley Trail to the Gray's Lake Connector; Take The Meredith Trail from the North or East- all eventually connect to the "Kruidenier Trail". Watch for UPCYCLE signs pointing you in the right direction. We will be near where Confluence intersects the trail.
