Description
Party Ride
Distance - 30 miles
From Marina bar (deli dock) which is floating on the lake next to the boat ramp to Granger and the Granger Saloon. From Granger to Grimes (Stevie C's). From Grimes to the Saylorville bike trail. Due to being kicked out of and remodeling of bars in Johnston, there will be no Johnston bar stop. Load up on roadies at Johnston Casey's and we will have impromptu stops along the trail back to the Marina. The Deli Dock Marina bar will be open till midnight with $2 beers.
Route
From Marina to Granger via the mile long bridge. Backtrack out of Granger to Grimes. Side of the road stops when necessary. In Grimes hit mainstreet bars. Off to the Saylorvile trail at Sycamore access and back to Marina on the trial (this part of the ride traditionally remains clothing optional). Load up on roadies for trail parties when the urge hits you. Note that the usual Marina bar is now closed but there is a bar actually floating on the lake which serves food and will have $2 beers. Limited camping available on parking area lawn.
