Just Plain Fun

Distance - 25 - 30 or 50 Miles - see ride route

Riders will travel through two states, IA/MN and four counties, Mitchell, Mower, Freeborn and Worth for a total of 25, 35, or 50 miles. Cyclist will leave from the high school parking lot in St. Ansgar at 8:00 am Rain or Shine and travel through the towns of Otranto, Grafton & Carpenter. Food stops and restrooms will be availble along the route.

Route

25 MILE ROUTE - Leave High school parking lot on 8th Street to Main Street going north to Hwy 105. Turn north on Cameo County Rd (S70) going throught Otranto continue north to State Line Street and turn left for 1 mile and turn south on Zinnia Ave (S68) back to Hwy 105 turn left and follow through Carpenter and back to St. Ansgar. 35 MILE ROUTE - Follow the 25 mile route north of the State Line Street to Mower County 6 which turns into Freeborn County 1 and follow a total of six miles turn left on Freeborn County 32 and there will be lunch at the Deer Creek Valley Luthern Church. Continue South on 32 which turns into Thrush Ave.County Rd (S56) to Hwy 105 and turn left on 105 through Carpenter back to St. Ansgar. 50 MILE ROUTE - Follow the 35 mile route to Hwy 105 and continue going south on Thrush Ave. to 390th St. County Rd (A39)and turn left which will take you through Grafton to Warbler Ave.(S62) Take Warbler to 450th St. County Rd(A27) and turn right. This road runs into Hwy 105 which will take you through Carpenter and back to St. Ansgar.

Registration

A registration fee of $15.00 per adult and $10.00 per child of 12 or under (Family Limit of $35.00) includes T-shirt, sag wagon & lot of fun. Register at the St. Ansgar High School North Parking lot starting at 7:a.m.
