Bike Trail Tourism Conference set for Thursday, March 31st at Hotel Pattee in Perry, IA

Getting More Out Of The Trail  
Thursday March 31, 2016.   Hotel Pattee  Perry  9:00 am - 3:30 pm
Registration fee:  $20.  Includes lunch and all conference materials.

9:45 am Panel 1,  Businesses on the trail becoming more bike friendly with signage for wayfinding to help trail users get to local businesses, community assets

11:00 am Panel 2, Success in business along the trial.                                                                                                    
12:00 noon  Lunch 
1:15 pm Panel 3; Panel of bike trail users/riders, to talk about their experiences and what they look for in a good experience on the trail.

2:15 pm Panel 4;  Social media discussion 
3:00 pm Call to Action: Moving from Ideas to Action

 The mission of  the Common THREAD Consortium of Communities is the development of communities on or near the High Trestle and Raccoon River Valley Trail and Park systems, through the identification and enhancement of opportunities for Tourism, Health, Recreation, Education, Arts, and Development. 

The vision of the Common THREAD Consortium is economically thriving communities of healthy residents enjoying a high quality of life on or near the High Trestle and Raccoon River Valley Trail and Park systems, made possible through cooperative planning, the enhancement and utilization of area assets, and leveraging opportunities in the greater metropolitan area.
