I gotta say, we love this ride. But it should have been noted that the trail was closed due to rain, flooded trail, mud. We actually made it through, but very lucky no one went down in the mud. Aside from the mud - which is going to occur. But someone threw carpet tacks just outside of Carol. Our group had five flats. It's hard to counter vandalism, but we were a little disappointed. Nonetheless, we did have a good time. Camping at Swan Lake is always an adventure (despite torrential rains and 60 MPH winds). Breda rocks!!!! Even with a smaller crowd, it was a great time. The Road Pirates were proud to make a solid showing. See you next year (there better be no carpet tacks!).

This is a completely free bike ride! NO Trail pass will be needed on June 15th, just get out and enjoy this great trail. Start anywhere you like along this 30 mile paved trail. Make a day our whole weekend out of it! Camping and motels are available in both Carroll and Lake View.
