The third annual Sioux City Summer Solstice is fast approaching. This is an annual ride in partnership with Opportunities Unlimited to promote helmet awareness. Siouxland Cyclists and Scheel's Sports were kind enough to support this program allowing Opportunities Unlimited to provide bicycle helmets to children.
The ride will begin at Bev's and follow the riverside trail system. From there the route is up to you but we plan to meet at Bambooze at 8:30 and ride to the pavilion. Since we will be riding in the dark or at least dusk bike lights and helmets are required. Prizes will be awarded for best decorated bike and best decorated helmet.
