FRIDAY NIGHT BIKES.
Starting May 23rd, 2014. Sponsored by Greencastle Tavern and Founders Irish Pub. Ride the Chichaqua Valley Trail.
This ride will take place every Friday night, come ride the trails and stop in Mingo or Bondurant for a social event filled with cycling, scenery and a festive, party atmosphere. Choose your starting point at either location and ride on out to Greencastle Tavern in Mingo or Founders Irish Pub in Bondurant for live entertainment, cold beverages, great food and prizes. Sign up every week to be in the end of the season drawing for great prizes.
End of Season Party will be in September, make sure you attend every week for maximum entries into the drawing for our great prizes.
Greencastle Tavern is located one block off the trail. Some riders get headed down the trail by mid-afternoon while others ride late into the night. Everyone welcome, don’t feel like riding, drive out and visit us.
Note: Unlike most of the rides listed here, the Friday Night Bikes is a weekly event. It runs every Friday evening during most of the from May thru September.
If you plan to ride at night in Iowa, you are required by law to have lights on your bike for safety purposes. Iowa, the law requires that you have a white light on the front and either a red light or reflector on the rear. The lights must be visible from 300 feet.
