The Tour de Fire is a fun ride that takes all cycling enthusiasts along the Des Moines River and some amazing views of southeast Iowa. The ride will stop by local fire departments in the area that will have drinks, games and entertainment provided. Relax and have some fun before riding on to the next department. This is our second annual ride with over 50 people our first year and it was a huge success.
This years route will consist of once again two routes, A long and a short. Short route will be 32 miles and 1700 ft elevation. will leave from Bridgeview Center in Ottumwa and have stops at Agency Fire (mile 20) Wapello Rural (mile 30) and Ottumwa Fire station 2 (mile 31).
The long route will be 67 miles and 2700 ft elevation. Will also start at Bridgeview Center in Ottumwa and have stops at Agency (mile 20) Wapello County Rural (mile 30) and Blakesburg Fire (mile 42).

All registered riders will be provided a T-shirt and will have food and refreshments provided along the route. **late registration may result in no t-shirt.

Afterparty will be at Morgans corner in Ottumwa. 436 W. 2nd Street.
All proceeds will be split between the departments hosting the event.
