Distance - Sprint Duathlon – 2.2-mile trail run, 6-mile mountain bike; Kids Duathlon (FREE) – 1 or 2 laps run around the park, 1 or 2 laps bike around the park; Dirty Duathlon (Solo and Relay) – 2.2-mile trail run, 10-mile mountain bike, 2.2-mile trail run

Due to rain in the forecast tonight and thunderstorms all day tomorrow, we are moving the race date to November 11. Hope to see you all there!
Registration will open again later today.

Packet pickup will also be postponed to November 10, for those that did register.

The CITA Des Moines Dirty Duathlon is our annual bike/run race on single-track trails.

Join us for a fun day of mountain biking and trail running on Center Trails at Greenwood Park! The course will incorporate two new miles of professionally built single-track trail that passes through an old growth forest, includes super fun, flowy downhill, a creek crossing, and plenty of lung-busting climbing.

Rock the Duathlon on your own, or partner up (1 runner, 1 cyclist) if you’re not ready to tackle the whole thing alone.

**100% of the proceeds will go toward maintaining and building our single-track trails.**

Free kids race will be either a "1 lap run and 1 lap bike", or "2 laps run and 2 laps bike" depending on ability. This will be held in the grassy area by the shelter and will not be utilizing the dirt trails.

Route

Start and Finish will be near the Jay Spence Shelter at Greenwood Park - from Grand Avenue, turn south onto 45th Street, then left up the hill toward the Jay Spence Shelter and look for signs.

The run and bike will use the single-track trails.

Registration

$30.00 pre-registration ($35.00 day-of via check or cash)

$60.00 relay pre-registration – each person registers on the website ($70.00 day-of via check or cash)

Kids - FREE and do not need to pre-register (waivers needed from parent day-of)
