PAINTING SECOND STREET: Kyle Guenther, now a senior at Iowa State University majoring in architecture, is now seeing his bike path proposal come to life in downtown Bellevue, as city workers last week painted bike path symbols on Second Street for bicyclists to navigate.
A former Bellevue High School student, Guenther’s plan is to improve amenities and connect the area through the creation of a bike path that connects downtown Bellevue with the Off Shore Resort and the bike trail running north.
