THE CHARITY While the ride is very much fun, it does have a purpose. Even in its first year, TAB proved to be a huge success raising over $6,500 for the Boys & Girls Club of Central Iowa. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Iowa helps 5,500 underprivileged youth in the Des Moines area by providing after school programs everyday during the school year and all day during the Summer vacation and school breaks. The Boys & Girls Club opens their doors to all children between the ages of 5 and 18, providing a sage haven and a five core program (Character and Leadership development, Health and Life Skills, Career and Education, the Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation) which is essential for the healthy development of its members.

Testimonial The BIKEIOWA crew did this ride last year and had a blast! It's a very well supported ride, you definitely get your miles too! We rode 7 or 8 laps around the track at full force and then ate and rode home to the post-party. A day well spent! so was I! We'll be there again this year to support the Track and Back ride 2008!
