Distance - Variety of distances from 12to 50 miles

The 16th Annual Hiawatha Classic Bike Ride will be held on Saturday, May 17 in Perry, Iowa. The ride starts and finishing at Caboose Park in Perry.  The ride had a new stating, with registration at 9 a.m. and the ride beginning at 10 a.m .

The Hiawatha Classic proceeds support the development of the Hiawatha Trail (Perry, Bouton and Woodward) in and through Perry, Iowa, and the RRVT.

Register before May 7^th to  guarantee a T-shirt. Ride includes, route map, sag wagon, rest/water stop, entertainment and breakfast.

Route

The ride will be held on the Raccoon River Valley Bike Trail. Bikers can ride any distance that they wish, including 12 miles to Bouton and back,  26 miles to Herndon and back, to Copper 36 miles and back, 50 miles to Jefferson and back,  They all start and end at the same spot. We will have detailed maps in the ride packets.

Registration

The registration fee is $25 with a shirt or $10 without. There is a special rate of $25 for families, which does not include shirts. There are commemorative t-shirts or Hiawatha Bike Shirts available for purchase. Rider can register online at: https://secure.racemonkey.com/1424
