This family friendly event promotes youth bike safety and skills development through an interactive skills course, bike decorating stations, a strider bike race, scavenger hunt activities, and information booths. Bicyclists of Iowa City, World of Bikes, Geoff's Bike and Ski, and the Iowa City Bike Library will all be on site with activities and information. Also enjoy food trucks and live music from The Negotiators.

The Negotiators is an Iowa City-based rock and roll band that plays original and cover songs emphasizing rich vocals and meaningful lyrics. The group, which consists of Marc Falk, Bob McMurray, Seth Petchers and Alex Looney, released Essential Workers, an EP of four original songs, in 2022. The Negotiators next EP will be released this summer.
