A BIG thank you to all who donated and attended the 2019 Big Wheel Rally. We were thrilled to present the Children's Cancer Connection a check for nearly $34,000!!!!

Party Ride

Distance - 1 mile(ish)

The Big Wheel Rally is a fundraiser supporting Children's Cancer Connection (CCC). Participants ride Big Wheels (often dressed in costumes) down Ingersoll Ave in Des Moines, IA stopping at multiple locations along the way. You do not need to have a Big Wheel to attend and there is no registration or cost to participate. Donations, shirt purchases, and sponsorships are HIGHLY encouraged. All proceeds through shirt sales, donations, and sponsorships are donated to CCC. Last year's BWR rose over $40,000! Help us beat that this year???

FAQ:
Q: Do I need a Big Wheel to participate?
A: No, but you'll have more fun if you bring one!
Q: Are Big Wheels provided to ride at then event?
A: No, participants must bring their own "Big Wheel" or other ride-able non-motorized vehicle.
Q: Is there a registration fee?
A: No, but donations are HIGHLY encouraged.
Q: Do you have to be 21 to attend?
A: This is an adult event, but kids are allowed at the start of the Rally to see the Big Wheels, have lunch at The Station on Ingersoll, etc. Note that there usually are not many kids at the start, Anyone Under 21 will not be allowed into GT, Ingersoll Tap, or Yacht Club as they do not sell food.
