Local grassroots Cyclocross Racing in Upper City Park.
Join us Wednesday Sept. 4 for a fun night of racing bikes in City Park. Simple format, short races, and a one of a kind course and venue make this a not miss event if you are in Eastern Iowa. Men's and Women's A/B categories along with male and female junior races keep things fun for the whole family.

5:30 Juniors (Boys and Girls)
5:30 Women B
5:30 Women A
6:00 Men B
6:30 Men A

Cash payouts, top 3 for both Men's and Women's races, gift certificates to local bike shops for the top 3 male and female junior racers.

And last a little context:
After hearing the Women of Iowa City Cycling Club were no longer able to continue running their Chamois Time CX event many people in the Iowa City cycling community recognized what a loss this would be, especially the CX race in City Park. As many of you realize putting on any event truly takes a group effort, Chamois Time CX was no exception, and it was run with great success for several years by a dedicated group of local riders. We hope to build off of what Chamois Time began all those years ago, and are truly embracing the collaborative effort that is required to put on such an event. With all that in mind "Community Cross" was born as an effort between multiple local clubs, individuals, and bike shops all coming together to make this one of a kindevent possible.

We hope to see you at the Park on September 4.

Registration

Registration opens at 4:30 and closes 15 minutes prior to each race.
$20 adult entry, $10 junior entry, $10 entry for all first time racers.
*USA Cycling annual or 1-day license required for all participants
-NO PRE-REGISTRATION, ON SITE ONLY
