Quality Bicycle Products has announced that the Iowa Fat Bike
Summit will be held as part of the Iowa Bicycle Summit in Des Moines on
January 19, 2017.
The Iowa Regional Fat Bike Summit will be focused primarily for
land managers, Nordic ski associations, chambers of commerce, and other
city or county agencies interested in learning more about fat bike
access issues, demographics, and grooming techniques. Fat bikes remain
the industry’s leading growth sector with strong sales. “We are so
excited to hold a regional Fat Bike Summit here at the Iowa Bicycle
Coalition as we
have seen a marketable increase here in Iowa” said Iowa Bicycle
Coalition Executive Director Mark Wyatt. “There are many here
interested in growing the activity and we know it will be fully attended
and look forward to a fully fat time.”
“The Iowa Bicycle Coalition has done a great job with how fat
bikes can share trails,” said QBP’s Advocacy Director Gary Sjoquist, who
is helping coordinate the event in conjunction with the Iowa Bicycle
Coalition.
The Iowa Regional Fat Bike Summit will take place at Des Moines
Area MPO conference room, 420 Watson Powell Junior Way, Suite 200, Des
Moines. Registration for the Summit can be completed at
