RAGBRAI riders will have a chance to take a spin through Jack Trice Stadium during their overnight stop in Ames.
The 50th RAGBRAI starts July 23 in Sioux City and ends six days and 500 miles later in Davenport.
Day 3 (July 25) will see riders pedal 83 miles from Carroll to Ames, where they'll be welcomed into the home of the Iowa State Cyclones football team — just as they were five years ago, the last time RAGBRAI stopped in town. The Ames City Council on Tuesday announced and approved the RAGBRAI route through town and necessary road closures to accommodate it.
