Sheldon area residents added $5,050 in donations to the Sheldon United Fund’s total last week, according to United Fund Officials.
Last week’s donation amount increased the total donations for this year’s United Fund drive to $17,344 after eight weeks of the thirteen-week campaign. The goal for the 2020 campaign is $30,000 and to reach that goal, an average of $2,532 would need to be donated each week until the United Fund drive ends December 31st.
This year’s Sheldon United Fund drive will benefit twenty-five non-profits in Sheldon and surrounding communities, including:
Sheldon RecreationalTrailsserve Sheldon and all area residents. The money is used to continue construction of the trail.
