Iowa State Patrol says a car hit a bicyclist as he or she was crossing an Iowa County road nearSouth Amana at 3:19 p.m. Friday.
Troopers say the cyclist didn't yield the right of way to a vehicle driven by Jessica Ann Marie Schulte, 29, of South Amana. Aircare took the cyclist to University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. That person's name hasn't been released pending notification of family.
