A 24-year-old Iowa woman charged with attempted murder and burglary has been given probation and a suspended sentence after hitting two people on a bicycle with her vehicle and threatening another with a knife.
Roselea Procenko pleaded guilty March 11 to two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon for driving into the two— who were on a single bike—June 15, 2018, in Newton and then driving away, court records show.
She also pleaded guilty to assault with a dangerous weapon for breaking into another woman's motel room and threatening to stab her. She had a charge of assault on persons in certain occupations; she pleaded guilty to that as well, too.
