More Than $164,000 In Grants Presented To Area Non-Profits And Municipalities
Twenty-seven grants from three different programs have been awarded to Carroll County non-profits and municipalities, totaling more than $164,000. The Community Foundation of Carroll County announced the grant awards at their annual meeting last week and they included over $100,000 through the County Endowment program, over $20,000 from the Endowment Fund and another $43,000 through the Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation. There was a second-year donation to the Carroll Public Library Foundation of $20,000 and just slightly over $20,000 to Kellan’s Kingdom to be used towards the total needed for the Miracle Field project.
