THANKS to The Whistlin' Donkey Sports Bar and Grill in Woodward for renewing their sponsorship. They have been a BIKEIOWA supporter since August 2012.

The Whistlin' Donkey Sports Bar and Grill resides at the Northern tip of the High Trestle Trail in Woodward. They are open for business Monday-Sunday at 10am. Kitchen opens at 11am. Outside Tiki Bar, Camping, Good Food and Drinks will make the Whistlin' Donkey a favored stop by all.

They will also be a trail-hub for the new Connector Trail that will connect the High Trestle Trail and the Raccoon River Valley Trail. Work on that trail starts in June 2018, but it will take a while to complete.

They will soon have a Hammock hotel for cyclists to use for overnight accommodations. The "hotel" will be a memorial for Tim O'Connor, a cyclist from Ames who passed away in Oct 2017 from a non-cycling related cause.
