Come join the T-Bone Trail Ribbon Cutting & National Trails Day Celebration Where: Old Glory Park, Brayton, IA. When: Saturday, June 4, 2005 10:00 a.m. What: Ribbon cutting to open the newest section of the T-Bone Trail from Brayton to Cass County. Also, a celebration of National Trails Day. Who: As many NVT members and supporters as can possibly attend with friends, family, bikes, wheelchairs, skateboards, and walking and jogging shoes. The T-Bone trail section from Breton to Audubon Cass County line ribbon cutting will 10:00 AM at the Breton Town Park. The park is right off Highway 71 in Breton. The T-Bone Trail is now continuous from Exira to Brayton (7.25 miles). Two other sections are complete, Audubon to Hamlin (home of Iowa's "Best" tenderloin at Darrell's Place) and from the Valley (I80 / HWY 71 interchange) to trail head south 3 miles. Hopefully, the Cass County section, about 8/10 of a mile from Audubon / Cass County line to the Valley trail Head will be completed soon. This will make a terrific round trip ride of about 22 miles. Hope to see you all at the ribbon cutting in Brayton for the latest completed section June 4 at 10:00 AM.
