Trail Ride

Distance - 1-10 miles

Bring your bikes that like dirt, your kids, and join CITA for some trail riding fun at North Sycamore.

We'll meet for a ride, do some trail-skills work, and talk about trail maintenance. The ride will be led by CITA volunteers. Refreshments will be provided after the ride for both parents and kids.

No bike, no problem! We are working with the Des Moines Bicycle Collective to try to provide bikes and helmets to any kids needing one for the ride. E-mail CITA (info@centraliowatrails.com) or message CITA on Facebook on first-come, first-served basis.

Route

Depending on number of riders and skillsets we will aim to have at least 2 different ride loops. We'll play it by ear - the goal is for kids and parents to have a blast riding some of Des Moines off-road trails!
