Enjoy East Central Iowa with a family bike ride! We offer three routes of approximately 7, 15, or 30+ miles with rest stops provided. Over rolling hills through picturesque Grant Wood country farmland through the Wapsipinicon and Buffalo River valleys.

Route

Route 1. Depart Brendel Park on River Street down Main Street Central City and east on E-16 3.5 miles to first rest stop, then return. Approximately 7 miles. Route 2. Continuing from rest stop to Prairieburg on X-20, and return to Central City. Approximately 15 miles. Route 3. Continuing from Prairieburg north on X-20 to D-62. Turn East 3 miles to X-31. Turn South to E-16. Turn West and return to Central City on E-16. Approximately 30 miles total.
