Distance - Dachshund - 8.6 miles; Greyhound - 21.3 miles; Wolfhound - 34 miles

Fund raiser ride to benefit Heartland Humane Society No-Kill Animal Shelter in Ottumwa, Iowa.  The ride will begin at Indian Hills Community College campus in Ottumwa, and include a half-way point stop at Heartland Humane's facility (where food and drinks will be sold) before returning to Indian Hills College.

Also, join us the night before (Friday, June 6th, 7pm) at Courtside Bar & Grill,  2511 North Court Street, for an evening of fun and an auction to further benefit Heartland Humane Society.

Route

There will be 3 routes that riders can choose to ride to meet their cycling abilities.  The shortest route ("Dachshund" route) is an 8.6 mile route from Indian Hills to Heartland Humane and back.  The second route ("Greyhound" route) is 21.3 miles and will go east from Indian Hills out Alta Vista and follow "The Loop" (basically: Alta Vista to Dahlonega, Angle Road to Bladensburg Road, Bladensburg Road to Agency/Hedrick Highway, north on Agency/Hedrick highway to Dahlonega Road, then west on Dahlonega Road) then to Rochester Road to arrive at Heartland Humane before taking the short/Dachshund route back to Indian Hills.  The third route ("Wolfhound" route) is 34 miles and will follow the "Greyhound" route to Heartland Humane, and then in reverse to return back to Indian Hills.

Registration

$20 per rider (17 and over) advance registration fee by Saturday, May 31st, $25 June 1st through June 7th

$10 per rider (16 and under), no change/increase in price if not pre-registered
