Road

Distance - 11 to 25 miles

Our 2nd Annual Suicide Awareness Walk/Ride will begin and end at Kings Pointe Resort in Storm Lake, Iowa. The walk will run from the Marina to Chataqua Park and back to Kings Pointe. The bike ride will run from Kings Pointe around the lake 11 miles ending at Kings Pointe. There is no longer a registration fee or a band but please come join us for raising awareness and saving lives but reducing stigma!!

The Yellow Light Foundation is still working to become established in the area to help suicide survivors. They hope to provide survivors of suicide with assistance to cover the costs associated with losing a loved one to suicide as well as assistance for low-cost grief counseling, support groups and resources.

Mission

The Yellow Light Foundation's Mission is to provide financial assistance, support groups and resources to those whom have lost a loved one to suicide.

 

Hotel, waterpark, golf course, mini-golf course and restaurant on site. Campground across the street. Bicycle shop across the street. See links below.

Route

King's Pointe Resort around the lake 11 miles to return to the same location. Some may choose to loop the lake more than once if more miles are desired.
