Just Plain Fun

Distance - Council Bluffs to Shenandoah is about 45 miles

Two day ride. Take all day Saturday enjoy the trail and the towns along the way. The ride is during the Shenandoah Shenfest. If you ride fast you might make it for the parade. Other activities taking place through out the day. Depot Deli has a couple of bands and beverage tent available for the slower riders later into the evening. Then Sunday morning have breakfast and enjoy the ride back home.

Route

The Wabash Trace is one of the premier nature trails in the midwest. Crushed limestone surface with even spacing between towns for breaks. If you prefer to drive to Shenandoah real early Saturday we can give you a ride up to Council Bluffs trail head. We are leaving the Depot Deli at 9am.

Registration

Check in at the bus Saturday morning. We have our Ragbrai bus to haul your tents and gear down the trail. Campsite locations around the Depot Deli. Then back again the next day. Let me know if you would like a host home before Friday. Hotels also available.
