Join us for the 8th Annual FORE! Our Parks golf outing and bike ride at Waveland Golf Course. Learn about Des Moines’ parks while supporting the economic, environmental, health and recreational benefits they provide central Iowans.

Each year we strive to support the Des Moines Parks and Recreation in the best way possible.  Throughout the years The Friends of Des Moines Parks has contributed over a million dollars in support of park projects. The funding has helped thousands of children learn how to swim, built playgrounds and nature trails, purchased E911 Trail markers, as well as assisting with recreation programs/special events.

We hope you join us this year as we raise money for a new basketball court at the Evelyn K Davis Park and updates to the SW 1st Street Bridge.

Check-in at 12:30PM

Ride at 1:00PM

• Bike at your own pace through Des Moines to enjoy the trails and parks! 

• Each biker will receive $5 Trail Bucks to spend at each pit stop along the route - Captain Roy's, Jethro's and Cownie Soccer
