Check-in and pre-ride activities begins at 6:30 pm
Ride begins promptly at 6:30 pm
How much is the ride?
Free... ‘Tis the Season for Giving and voluntarily we are requesting non parishable food donations for the local food bank.
The route?
The route will contain some of the coolest holiday light displays in Mason City. The crew is on the lookout.
...
The route will be about 5 miles in length, relatively flat and about 60 minutes of actual ride time. We will be riding slow, similar to the Sunday Slow Ride. Dress accordingly.
Who can ride?
Anyone with a bicycle. Front and rear lights on your bike and helmet are required for this NIGHT Ride, please non flashing on this ride. The route can only be completed with an official group escort, so please give yourself ample time to prepare and arrive well before starting time. We will be riding no more than two wide because it is a night ride.
Display Your Spirit!
Add to the evening’s festivities by adorning your bicycle with brightly colored lights, garlands or other holiday decorations. Be creative, but remember, think safety first!
After the ride?
There will be free hot cocoa for everyone at the Rancho Deluxe. Possibly some baked goods for sale. Stay tuned for more.
The plan is to make this an annual event, growing bigger each year.
If the weather is not cooperative, Thursday Dec 21 is the alternative date.
