Saturday morning, my wife and I rode the Sauk Rail Trail from Lake View to Breda.
We have intended to back to Lake View for breakfast, thinking that there was probably not anywhere in Breda at 8 am. serving coffee or breakfast. We rode down main street and discovered and cute place, Victoria's Restaurant and Kay's Corner with a big OPEN sign.
We went in and were greeted by the owner, Mary Kay Uhlenkamp, who commented on our jerseys and asked where we were from. She mentioned that another biker had stopped in a few weeks ago and mentioned that he had read somewhere that there were places to eat in Breda. I told her that I would spread the word about her establishment.
The food was good, the service was great, and Mary Kay is an excellent promoter of the town of Breda. Check this place out, when you have a chance!
