The Dallas County Conservation Board was recently named the recipient of a $100,000 Prairie Meadows "Legacy Grant"to fhelp und the construction of the 9-mile "connector trail" that will run between Perry on the Raccoon River Valley Trail and Woodward on the High Trestle Trails.

Prairie Meadows awarded 16 such Legacy Grants this year.

“We really appreciate the awarded Legacy Grant from Prairie Meadows," said Mike Wallace, director of Dallas County Conservation. "Many times these types of grants end up leveraging additional contributions from others for our project.
