DAVENPORT -- A 10-year old boy died Friday night after a bicycling accident in Fairmount Cemetery.
Police responded to a call at 6:44 p.m. of a bicycle accident at 3902 Rockingham Road, according to a news release.
A preliminary investigation revealed the victim was riding his bicycle downhill, lost control and struck a tree. He died of injuries suffered in the accident, police said.
Identification of the victim has been withheld pending notification of the family.
