Chad McNamara, Logan Orcutt, Andy
Brimeyer, Thaddeus Walters are friends, who shared a common dream. And
last November, that dream became a reality.
They now share ownership of Goldfinch Cyclery, 1120 2nd Street SE, a full-service bicycle shop that offers expert repair, bicycle sales, and seasonal accessories and apparel.
“We focus heavily on our ability to
meet the industry’s highest standards of service and repair while
maintaining a 24 to 48-hour turn-around time on nearly all services,”
said Logan.
“We sell everything to meet the needs
of every budget in our cycling community, while focusing heavily on
local and US-made goods whenever possible.”
Logan said their shop is unique,
because, not only is it located in NewBo, one of the fastest growing
neighborhoods in Cedar Rapids, but the shop can be found just off the
Cedar River Trail, a popular route for bicyclists.
