ALGONA—The early registration deadline for this year’s Bicycle Ride Around Kossuth is this Friday, May 20.

Registration forms can be filled out electronically atwww.algonarotary.org. Registration cost is $20 per rider by May 20, and that registration cost includes a t-shirt.

After May 20, that fee increases to $25 per rider and a t-shirt is not guaranteed to be purchased by the day of the race.

“Riders who register late will still get a t-shirt, it just may not be the date of the race,” said Adam Shaw, a member of the Algona Rotary club and one of the organizers of the event.

BRAK this year will be a roughly 40 mile bicycle ride, taking place on Saturday, June 11. Registration the day of the event runs from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m., with the ride beginning at 8 a.m. The ride will take place, rain or shine.
