This week, the thousands of cyclists taking part are getting geared up and ready to go. And that means bikes shops across the metro are busy!
Rasmussen bike shop says RAGBRAI is one of its craziest times of the year. Cyclists are getting last minute supplies and repairs. The shop’s owner, Greg Rasmussen, says he is going to be sweating it out with his customers.
He’ll help fix up broken bikes along the route in the shop’s repair van. Rasmussen says he thinks the crowd will thin out during the second half of the trek.
