The Raccoon River Valley Trail Association (RRVT), one of America’s best recreational trails, has long been a avid supporter of Trails in Iowa.

About the Trail
The Raccoon River Valley Trail is a 56-mile-long paved trail along the
branches of the beautiful Raccoon River through Greene, Guthrie and
Dallas Counties in west central Iowa. It includes the communities of
Jefferson, Cooper, Herndon, Yale, Panora, Linden, Redfield, Adel and
Waukee. And, going east, the RRVT connects with the extensive trail
system in Iowa’s capital city of Des Moines.
The 33-mile-long “North Loop,” is coming along with a completion
date in Spring 2013. That will include the communities of Dallas Center,
Minburn, Perry, Dawson and Jamaica.

This trails continues to grow as two new segments of the North Loop opened this year.
