Brian Duffy, cyclist and professional cartoonist/artist from West Des Moines, has worked with the Raccoon River Valley Trail Association in designing an exclusive cycling jersey which is now available for purchase on the RRVT website www.raccoonrivervalleytrail.org. Go to the RRVT Store and click Brian Duffy jersey on the top of the right column. The Jersey, manufactured by Louis Garneau is bright and colorful with the special touches only Brian Duffy can master. It is made in the USA. "It's diamond-shaped construction provides good ventilation and moisture wicking properties." The jersey is "60% mat polyester microfiber and 40% glossy polyester." RRVTA president, Carla Offenburger, stated, "this jersey is more about being a marketing tool for us at this time, rather than a revenue producer. We've kept the cost down to meet our expenses. It's a bargain at $75-$80, plus shipping and handling." Offenburger continued, "That might not always be the case, so we encourage folks to purchase it in 2010."
