Grinnell, IA The Results for the Grinnell segment of the Iowa Spring Classic are up at the web site. http://iascs.blogspot.com Visit for a peek and thanks to all the racers that came out and endured the weather and hills. This was a rather tough course with 750 feet of climbing per lap. A rider from the men 4/5's cyclometer read 3000 feet of climbing for 30 miles. I'm guessing the men p123 faced down around 5200 feet of climbing in 50 miles. The wind gave no reprieve on the easier segments of the course so there wasn't really anywhere to get a break. Iowa City next, slightly less distance per lap with shorter yet steeper climbs on the SE corner of the course. Same gig the race will go off unless we have freezing rain. EVENT DETAILS
