New York City, NY A little late. but... Fast approaching is the new year, and we’ve been walking about it like a rich girl talks about money and shopping. Earlier this morning, we mentioned that Times Square is nearly ready for the grandest party in the world tomorrow. What we didn’t mention was the big beautiful “2010″ number sign that lights up when the clock strikes 12AM. But the sign isn’t being powered by a nuclear plant, no sir. Humans will be powering the sign this year. Yes — humans. Specifically, we refer to human legs, which will be responsible for pedaling stationary Duracell-branded bicycle units which will actually harvest 32,000 watt hours of energy for 30 minutes of total illumination as the world looks on.
