The Des Moines Bicycle Collective has about 50-60 vintage bikes we intend to sell Jan. 24 and 25 during/between the Iowa Bike Summit and RAGBRAI team meeting. These are mostly older Schwinns (50s, 60s, 70s) that we are selling as is. No Schwinn Phantoms or StingRays, but nice bikes. Good project bikes for someone who wants a classy cruiser or three-speed for trips to the coffee shop or a parade bike. Or, just hang on the wall to admire how it once was. We have a location at 1312 Locust Street, a building Jack Hatch is renovating near the new sculpture building. It should be easy to find from the Downtown Holiday Inn.
