The 2009 Iowa Travel Guide is now available in the state's welcome centers and available for order online. As in past years, the guide features listings for hundreds of attractions, hotels, campgrounds and bed and breakfasts in Iowa. The cover showcases Iowa's first destination state park, Honey Creek State Park near Centerville, which opened in September. Among the new listings is the North Raccoon River Water Trail in Sac City. As more people look for travel value in poor economic times, Iowa Tourism Office Manager Nancy Landress said, those who wanting affordable options should consider Iowa options shown in the travel guide. The 2009 Travel Guide can be seen online at www.traveliowa.com, and copies can be ordered from that same Web site or by calling 800-345-IOWA.
