Cyclists are asked to gather on June 21, 2008 by 11 am at the Crawford County Courthouse in Denison, Iowa to show their support of bicycling. The route has been set from Denison to Schleswig and back. Maps will be available in Denison . Join your cycling friends at Cheetas Bar and Grill (formerly Shorty's) in Schleswig during the ride. Please contact the email included if you know of a band interested in playing at Cheetas Bar and Grill. Crawford County will reportedly post signs to warn bicyclists the roads are not meant for them. The main point to consider is you are riding at your own risk. Iowa cycling celebrities are expected to attend, including Goodboy Greg, Da Governor, Mean Jean and Thong Girl of the long-standing Taco Ride.
