Perry Creek Trail Officially Open

A three mile trail runs along the side of Perry Creek, offering up new recreational opportunities for residents.
About 50 people gathered to run and ride bikes after the dedication.
A hidden gem, the trail's been open for several months already, but it hasn't gotten a lot of use.
One resident says that will change as more people learn where its located.
Bob Miller says, "It's a great addition for us from where we live we can get right on it and get downtown without any traffic."
The new trail is set to be part of the Sioux City marathon this fall.
