TJ Tollakson wins Eagleman Ironman

TJ Tollakson, a 1999 Ankeny graduate, won the Eagleman Ironman in Columbia,
Md., Sunday with a course record 3:46:28 for a 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike and
13.1-mile run. Tollakson, who also holds the course record at Big Creek,
crushed the competition on the bike course, completing it in 2:02, for an
average speed of 27.5 mph.
