At least a dozen downtown Des Moines bars will participate in a pub crawl June 16 in an event tied to the Hy-Vee Triathalon.
The Coors Light Pub Crawlathon at 9 p.m. June 16 will include: Court Avenue Brewing Co., Liars Club, Royal Mile, Vaudeville Mews, the Lift, Johnny's Hall of Fame, Hessen Haus, Buzzard Billy's, El Bait Shop, High Life Lounge, Legends, Lounge 101 & Back Stage Bar.
The free event, produced by Historic Court Avenue Association and Iowa Beverage Systems, will include the chance to win a $1,000 mountain bicycle. Pub crawlers will need to have their hands stamped by at least 10 of the participating bars to enter the contest.
